Things to Do at The Lodge at Schroon Lake

Take in golden hour on Schroon Lake with our Sunset Cruises, offered on select summer nights from 6:30–8:45 PM—choose a 30-minute guided pontoon cruise for $25 per person or a one-hour experience aboard a classic wooden Chris Craft for $50 per person. It’s a peaceful, scenic way to unwind on the water and experience the lake at its most timeless.

Enjoy family-friendly fishing right from our waterfront on Schroon Lake—an easy way to spend a relaxing day by the water. Please note that a valid fishing license is required and can be obtained online through the New York State DEC.
Sunset Celebration
At the waterfront on select nights from 7:30–8:30 PM, join us for a special sunset tradition, with the torch lighting Sunset Celebration Ceremony beginning promptly at 8:15 to the sounds of Amazing Grace. Arrive early to enjoy beach games and a cash bar.
Outdoor Movie
Enjoy an Outdoor Movie under the stars starting at 8:30 PM on select summer nights, complete with popcorn and drinks. Stay tuned for movie selections, and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the show indoors to The Bevy or White Birch.
Stargazing
Unwind with stargazing in the backyard on our Nature Platforms, where the Adirondack sky comes alive after dark. Offered on select nights from 9PM - 10 PM, it’s a peaceful way to end the day.
