Get out on the water directly from The Lodge at Schroon Lake Marina. Guests enjoy complimentary boat docking, private beach access, and daily rentals of single and tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and pontoon boats. Captained Chris-Craft tours are also available, weather permitting.

Dine at The Swan Shack
Located along the waterfront at The Lodge at Schroon Lake, The Swan Shack is Schroon Lake’s only waterfront dining destination. Enjoy casual lakeside fare in a relaxed setting with beautiful waterfront views of Schroon Lake.
Stop by for grab-and-go favorites before heading out on the lake, settle in for lunch in the sun, or unwind with a refreshing drink while watching the sunset. Guests, locals, and boaters are all welcome to stop in throughout the day. With its laid-back atmosphere and unbeatable waterfront setting, The Swan Shack is a summer favorite for resort guests and locals alike.

Cruise to the Schroon Lake Farmers Market aboard a classic Chris-Craft boat. Your outing includes a scenic morning ride, time to leisurely browse local vendors and artisans, and a return trip to The Lodge.

Kayak & Paddleboard (SUP) Rentals

With a purchase: Non-guests receive up to two hours of complimentary dock parking.
Without a purchase or visits 2 hours or more: Parking is $8 per two-hour period.

Private Beach Access
Located just across the street from the Lodge, our private beach offers an exclusive way to soak up some Adirondack sunshine. Our spacious sun deck provides plenty of seating, with additional lawn chairs and beach umbrellas available for those looking for shade.
Sunset Celebrations
Spend the evening by the lake with beach games, waterfront activities, and a casual cash bar at The Swan Shack. As sunset approaches, guests are invited to gather for the retiring of the colors, accompanied by the sound of Taps across the water.
The evening continues with a ceremonial torch lighting and concludes with “Amazing Grace” as the lake settles into dusk.
